Charter’s innovative ‘Life Unlimited’ video bundle shows early success … for everyone involved
One analyst referred to it as cable TV’s “last stand”: Following its landmark program-licensing standoff with Disney in September 2023, Charter Communications methodically reset all of its major programming deals so it could offer its Spectrum Select video customers basic ad-supported versions of the top SVODs at no additional price.
With Disney+, Paramount+, Max, Peacock and other streaming services integrated into Spectrum Select, and Charter refurbishing its video product after years of neglect, actively marketing it once again alongside broadband and mobile in its “Life Unlimited” marketing campaign, early results are in. And they’re promising.
