‘Pandora’s box’ cracks open on Paramount as California launches a bribe inquiry into Trump settlement talks
As controlling shareholder Shari Redstone continues to negotiate with President Donald Trump over his “election interference” lawsuit against CBS’ 60 Minutes, Paramount’s board has reportedly grown concerned that a settlement will open a “Pandora’s box” of criminal bribery investigations, shareholder lawsuits, and associated government hearings from the left, extending into and well beyond a potential Democratic wave retaking Congress 18 months from now.
That process may have already started.
